Hanging on the rim will void your warranty. Rims are not warranted for any defects other than workmanship. Torn back plates, damaged springs, belt rings, damaged eye bolts, and torn or distorted rim supports result from hanging on the rim and are not warranted. The goal should not be cranked under 7.5 feet or over 10 feet. Adjustments of the goal should be done under adult supervision. When attempting slam dunk activity you should always wear mouth guard to avoid dental injury. To ensure ease of operation, lubricate all pivot points at least every months or as needed with good lubricant. Inspect your pole periodically. If rust should appear, remove loose paint, sand lightly, primer and paint with exterior flat matte finish enamel paint.
